CHRISTMAS BREAK – Childcare

We are open seven days out of our two week Christmas break – Monday through Thursday and Tuesday through Thursday, December 19 – 22 and 27 – 28 respectively.
We have field trips, crafts, a few concoctions for the adventurous, and of course activities in the fellowship center, athletic center and playground.

How We React to School News

Recently, some students at a public elementary school (NOT SPLS) were on a path to expulsion, before the consequence was reduced to a suspension. As is often the case, the on-line discussion focused on how stupid and over the top the school was. The infraction? What the kids call Happy Crack, a mixture of Kool-Aid and sugar similar to the contents of a Pixie Stix candy.

Why Do They Hate Us?

My wife and I listen to Christian music on the radio. For quite a while, I have been focusing on the themes in the most popular songs. Number one is the assurance that God loves us, in spite of our failings and faults. The emphasis is on God, through the work of Jesus, seeing our sins covered and being made right with our Father.
