We celebrate our connection to the national system of Lutheran schools in late January each year. The week focuses on learning about Lutheran schools, connecting with schools across the nation, participating in service activities, expressing appreciation to God and people for this great gift and having some fun.
A spring tradition at SPLS is Spirit Week. Usually in late April, this week is marked by special fun activities that emphasize our community of students, teachers and families. It leads up to our annual Family Fun Fair on the Friday afternoon after school. Special student dress days are a favorite as is a charity fund-raising competition.
"By far, the faculty member who has been a blessing to me the most is Mrs. Pahl. Mrs. Pahl has been a blessing to me in so many ways, like offering emotional support when I needed it most, and even praying with me when it seemed that there was no hope. She has helped me overcome so much, and I thank God that she taught me so much more than just social studies."
